Creduss started as an idea in the mind of one of the co-founders sometime in 2018. He was to receive a parcel from his friend who lived at the time in Athens, Greece and he needed the parcel to be delivered the next day. It was very expensive to send it through DHL and they could only promise to get it delivered in 3 days. The Post which is a cheaper option is not so much reliable because it takes like forever to get to the destination. He needed another option that was fast and affordable. It was around this time that another friend introduced him to a young lady who flies to Lagos every two weeks from Athens and she was helping people deliver parcels to Lagos for a fee. You could negotiate the fee and you are guaranteed to get the parcel in a couple of hours which is usually around the duration of the flight from its origin to its destination.
He connected with the lady and his parcel was delivered within 8 hours of agreement for a hundred dollar fee. That became a usual occurrence. He spoke to friends who wanted to send or receive parcels and was brokering the deal by connecting them with someone who is willing to accept and deliver the parcel at the destination. Then it occurred to him that if he could widen the pool of people willing to accept to deliver a parcel at their destination, a startup could be built around this idea. In the winter of 2020, He met with some friends over coffee and at a technology conference, Startup day in Tartu, Estonia. On that cold frigid day they decided to start Creduss technologies.

You need some measure of craziness to believe so much in this idea to infect the global world to adopt this alternative way of sending parcels around the world because our climate is in dire need of reducing emission
